Congratulations to the Bay State Breakers PeeWee A Black team who won the championship in the 2009 Global Hockey Christmas Tournament for the PeeWee Division.

The team captured the championship of the 2009 Global Hockey Christmas Tournament. The team ended up 3-1 in the tournament, having only one loss (1-0) to Team Finland team in which the Breakers outshot them 23-2 in the 3rd period, but their goalie stood on his head.  In the first game, they team beat the #1 seated Team Sweden in a 3-2 physical battle after getting down by two goals early in the first period.  The team battled back hard and never lost focus.

We played Team Germany in game three.  This was a must win game for the team to have a chance at the finals.  We had to play the perfect game and win each period. The players executed the coaches gameplan perfectly winning each of the three period with a goal ending the game with 3-0 shutout and taking all four points to get into the finals against Team Canada.

Team Canada was their final opponent in the championship game and the team once again was an offensive and defensive force by posting a 4-2 Championship victory.  The kids moved the puck really well and that was a key element to our win.

Excellent Job Boys!!! Great team effort!

Congrats to goalie Nick Young as well as his teammates Andrew Fithian, Hunter McCauley, John Teebagy, Ryan Cashman, Tim Cashman, Alex Carr, Matt Legge, Andrew Sylvia, Seamus Ryan, Brendan MacNeil, Ryan Reppucci, Brendan Calos, Michael Reidy, and Jackson Dutton.
