U10 Girls Green Take Home Gold Medal @ Charles River Tourney
February 15….Charles River Presidents Day Annual…Dedham, MA - Breakers U10 Green girls Win GoldFebruary 15….Charles River Presidents Day Annual…Dedham, MA - Breakers U10 Green girls swept tough competitors Charles River, Princeton NJ Tiger Lillies, and RI Express in the preliminary round of play. The semi-final game against a determined Charles River team displayed the best of the girls’ honed skills of skating, passing, shooting and goaltending, leading to a win. These now seasoned, battle hardened ‘warriorettes’ would need all of that, as they would face perennial arch-rival, Assabet Valley in the finals. As anticipated, this sold out game was a real crowd pleaser. Outstanding play and valiant effort by both teams kept the frenzied fans on their feet. Breakers came out on top with a 3-2 Championship Victory.
